Well, it looks like Microsoft finally officially announced Halo 3. Their announcement came in the form of a brief, Halo 3 teaser. The teaser itself does not offer much of anything as to what the game will be like, as it is very similar to the teaser that was initial released for Halo 2. It is done using the Halo 3 engine, so you should have a good idea about what the game will look like, but that is about it.
Also, the release date is listed as “2007″ so, I presume that it will be released at the same time as the movie, which makes sense from a marketing and money making standpoint.

Now..I’m not a hater…i love videogames and I’m excited about Halo 3 but that trailer doesn’t compare to MGS4.
The music was cool and the master chief character model is about flawless….but it was pretty boring. Good teaser but the MGS4 one was tons better.

Well, if you compare it to the MGS4 announcement teaser, it is much better. The MGS4 announcement did not even have in game anything. It was reused stuff from MGS3.
The trailer that came out for MGS4 this year is two years after announcement. I’m sure the Halo 3 trailer next year will be infinitely better.

jk i watched it again with sound and it is effective but MGS4 really is the game of the show. there is a 12 min teaser coming out i believe today (i think it’s out now to be honest but i’m exhausted i’ll watch it in the morning) that should show some game play.
