"Motorola PST that actually fixed it"

Any chance that this could work for a V3M as well?

That's a good question. If I remember correctly, I believe it was the Motorola PST that actually fixed it. Basically, if you just perform a couple of disk operations, it will repair the file structure on the phone (which was my problem). It this does not work, you might actually have more serious damage on the phone.

Yes, I have a problem with the "registering applications" message coming up when I boot up my phone. Were you refferring to PST as your diagnostic tool? I have looked all over google and the howard forums for some type of tool to fix corrupt file structures with a v3c, but I have not found anything. Could you help me out with how you found yours? Thanks.

Can you point me in the right direction for the diagnostic tools that fixed this? I am very interested as I have a similar problem.

You are 100% correct. Everytime someone calls me that I am annoyed, so I annoy people that use it in my comments by modding it. I am also considering modding "brb" since that seems to be getting used too frequently.

Yeah, I am aware of howard forums, they suck hard. Granted there is some useful information in there, if it cannot be gleened (sp) from a google search it isn't worth the time looking for. Ultimately, I found my solution else where.

and yes,
http://www.howardforum.com/

is the best and maybe only real site for great hacking articles. Be prepared to read through forum post all day. My answers were found at about 12 pages deep.
