After searching for a long time yesterday for a program like WriteRoom in Windows or Linux and not finding one…well, I make me appreciate OS X all the more. ![]()
It has been a near eternity since my last post, and I am sure you are all well aware of this. vanlandw, feels the need to remind me of this daily regardless of the fact that my latest post is newer than his.
Anyhow, I guess this is just going to explain why I have been slackin’.
The past weekend was my cousin, Bob’s wedding ordeal. Last fall I attended his sister’s wedding, it is a amazing how diametrically opposed those two ceremonies were. Bob’s sister, Elisha, had a short and sweet wedding ceremony with only a handful of people present, and the wedding reception lasted an hour or two with only a few more people present. Generally speaking, I would say that she did it right.
Bob’s wedding was more of a traditional fair, where they did the full formal rigameroo (sp) at a “big” church with the whole shebang. Then, there was the wedding reception that was…long. I believe that it was supposed to start at 6 PM, and it went past 12 AM. Now, this is based on eye witness accounts, as I petered out at 9 PM. I have never understood how people can stand such large gatherings of people for such a prolonged period of time. But, to each their own.
After that king sized family event, I have feverishly been working on what remained of the workload from my Operations Management class (of which I am waiting to begin at this very moment). Now that all of that “stuff” is out of the way, I am clear and free for a few days, and then my Managerial Economics class begins a week from today…joy.
you should make it your new years resolution to update every single day…..either with link based posts or daily accounts of day
I would NEVER do that. I hate both of those kinds of posts.
