Dark Room Updated (0.5.1b)

Here are just a quick couple of fixes that I missed in the 0.5 release.

Bug Fixes:

1. Fixed order of Find and Find Next in Edit menu
2. Font, Page, and Background color dialog defaults to current color instead of black
3. Fixed find next bug that would not allow find to advance to next word

Todos:

1. Cursor
2. Word Count / Statistics
3. Limited Formatting Support

    Working great!

I’m pretty happy with it as it is now. There’s really not much more I want. I’d donate if you added italics. I don’t need anything fancier than that.

Oh. There is one little thing. Sometimes I like to work in green. Sometimes in amber. Problem is, Darkroom seems to forget the custom colors I make.

I wondered about that myself. I’ll see if I can figure out the root of the problem.

Just came across this new version that now has “Find”… it works great! (One minor suggestion: When going back into “Find”, highlight the search phrase so a new search can be typed in immediately which having to remove what’s already there.)

That’s so minor I almost didn’t mention it, because I’m really only posting to give you some kudos. Thanks for the great feature!

This is a wonderful program — thanks!

I have one comment/suggestion. The opacity setting changes the entire window/screen. Would it be possible to change only the *background* opacity? I might be missing something, but I can’t see much advantage in the “page” being transparent, as it just lets in the clutter of the desktop. I do though really like the idea of everything in the background being “dimmed.” I have no idea though how easy or difficult it’d be to implement this possibility.

Thanks again for a great writing tool.

Hey man, this is a great piece of software. I think you would profit more from it if you turned it into an open-source project. I´d love to contribute to it.
