I am hesistant to release this version into the wild, because I did not have time to debug it as long as I would normally like. However, I do feel that the improvements justify the release. If there are significant problems I will release a fix ASAP.

Thanks for making all those changes. Two little problems:
Preferences.
The tabs-to-spaces setting is a little flaky. If you change the number of spaces from the default the change stays in effect till next time you bring up the preferences — even if you don’t change the tab setting or bring up the Application tab. Then it silently changes back to 3 spaces.
Packaging.
The folder in the zip file is named “Dark Rom ” instead of “Dark Room “.
