So, I have started working on the port. Of course it is working out to be a “you can do stuff that was impossible before, but stuff that was easy before is impossible now” kind of scenario. I have made an initial environment for testing (no customization yet). I need to do a little more research to figure out why “undo” and “redo” don’t work, at all. I may have to write my own undo queue which is rather unpleasant.
Anyhow, I need to generate a certificate, and all the fancy signing and what not. I hope to release a pre-alpha for testing some time this week. On the bright side, this thing appears to handle utf files much better. I was open to paste, save, and open a mixed greek / arabic file.
Anyhow, that’s where we stand for the moment.
