Iria

Well, if you like this film, there is a good chance that you also like films with empowered women (which I am not all that fond of). Despite all of here fancy tactics and strengths, she is still very human and has issues of here own. So, unlike most anime, the protagonist is potentially believable. And, she isn’t image of power feminist fantasize about.
The plot is descent for an Anime, nothing that will shake your the world (and if it does, you frighten me). And, it isn’t all that painful to watch.

Animation is what I expect, nothing stunning.

Sound, of all the traits that I so brutally digest, this is the least important to me. So if the sound track doesn’t fizzle and everything is clear I am happy with it.

Saber Marionette J

This was interesting. I always thought that they had pretty good crime control in Japan. But, I guess I was mistaken, because if they did, there is no way that these people involved in this project could have procured enough crack to make this film.
Good old nut job Otaru has no idea what is going on. Though, he does have three lovely marionettes that succumb to his every will, perhaps succumb was too strong a word. However, this film, though it looks nice and sounds alright, it is just a joke.

The plot is. . .there is no plot. And, the worst part of that is, I think that is what they wanted. Though occasionally they show some mad Germanic type characters as a ploy to deceive the viewers into thinking that something might actually happen.

Content as well is an empty platter. With they brain dead stories they pretty much locked this one down.

Video, as I would expect from a picture like this of it’s era.

Sound, they found the single most incompetent voice actors period. I think crack probably would have helped them.
