Granholm Bumper Sticker

granholm bumper

Recently, I seem to be hearing more and more complaints about Granholm (indirectly targeted at Bush), by people who voted for her. So, I whipped up a simple bumper sticker that I may just have to slap on my automobile.

Michigan Voters Enjoy Recession

The aftermath of yesterday’s election appears to prove that Michigan voters joyfully embrace our economic recession.

I spent the better part of this morning looking through election results attempting to determine how many offices shifted away from incumbents. Because, Michigan is suffering severely, so I assumed at least some offices would shift hands. Well, after looking around I only found a couple of congressional seats changed. I guess I am apparently wrong to not enjoy the economic climate of the state. So, I suppose after I get my MBA I’ll have to ditch Michigan and head to a state where they have their shit together.

Best Vote Ever

It is with great joy on this solemn day that I historically cast my ballot against the evil, Jennifer Granholm! I think at the very moment I filled out that bubble I heard the angels sing. I have been voting actively ever since I turned eighteen, and for the first time I feel as though I did not just vote for the lesser of two evils, but for the better of two candidates.

Heaven forbid that Granholm be re-elected, but if in the unfortunate event she is (thanks to van and bun) I think I will get that photo printed on business cards. And, whenever someone complains about some problem we are having in Michigan I will just hand them one.

Happy Midterm Election Day!

DeVos for Governor

Greetings all your voters. This is just a friendly reminder for all of you NOT to vote for Jennifer Granholm. Now, I can understand how not everyone is a huge fan of Dick DeVos. But, I do not ask you vote for him if you cannot stomach it. However, I do ask that you do NOT vote for Granholm. Your best bet would be to vote for Greg Creswell. He is a libertarian, and probably has the best platform of any of the candidates. Unfortunately, he does not have a chance in the two party system our country unfortunately embraces.

Also, a quick refresher on how to vote on the ballot proposals:

  • 06-1: Yes
  • 06-2: Yes
  • 06-3: Yes
  • 06-4: Yes
  • 06-5: No

Oh yeah, Rusty, stay home!

Drawing the Line

Recently, I was reading about how New Jersey’s Supreme Court decided that it was cool for homosexuals to be accorded the same rights in some kind joining like marriage. Then, they passed it to the legislature to cook something up. Now, there are a lot of people praising this (still a minority though).

The thing I find interesting about the people singing the praises of homosexuals are not willing to extend that logic to polygamy, or bestiality for that matter. I mean, if you use the same reasoning that they use to support gay unions, it basically applies to everything.

Personally I don’t care about it, I am just sick to death of hearing about it. But, I despise hypocrisy, and will not hesitate to call it out.

So, if I hear one more person say, “homosexuality is aok, but polygamy is just wrong” well, I may just explode.
