Here are just a quick couple of fixes that I missed in the 0.5 release.

Bug Fixes:

1. Fixed order of Find and Find Next in Edit menu
2. Font, Page, and Background color dialog defaults to current color instead of black
3. Fixed find next bug that would not allow find to advance to next word

Sorry for the delay in getting this revision out, I have been busy with my Economic Strategies class. Anyhow, this version includes a few new features (some much needed, some not as much) as well as some bug fixes.

In the not to distant future I will probably be releasing a “Pro” version that includes some limited RichText formating, but since this will be a fair amount of work I will probably charge $1.99 for it. Hopefully, I don’t break the bank for anyone.

New Features:

1. Transparency
2. Rudementary Printing Support
3. Autosave (once a minute)
4. Find
5. Content Cached in a local file to increase portability

Bug Fixes:

1. Save As bug fixed, now can save as repeatedly
2. Text Formatting is stripped when copied to clipboard

UPDATE: Clarification: it should be noted that all I did was eliminate “rogue” formatting. Things like paragraph alignment and what not that you could do using shortcut keys, but was never saved. You can still uniformly format the document.

Eventually, I will add alignment and what not back in once I uniformly implement support for specific formatting. But, as it stands right now that is outside the scope of the app.

The Hate Mail Fix:

1. Removed all formatting in document (including shortcut keys, etc…)

1. Fixed a bug that caused Dark Room to quit if save dialog is canceled
2. Fixed a bug where the font color button did not update when color was changed
3. Fixed a bug that caused the “save changes” prompt to come up while closing regardless of whether or not the document changed.
4. Fixed a bug that prompted a “save as” dialog when attempting to save a file that was opened using “Open With”
5. Added Ctrl+, as a shortcut for preferences
6. Added an About Page
7. Added option not to open in fullscreen mode
8. Added option to open to a clean page
9. Added a crappy icon

A few quick bug fixes:

1. Fixed a multiple monitor bug that shaded the primary monitor when app is not maximized
2. Added a warning to save when closing (if document modified)
3. Fixed a bug that allowed user to overwrite a previous file if they created a new file, and used ctrl+s to save
